Sells new and used donated building materials and supplies such as doors, windows, kitchen and vanity cupboards, clean tubs, showers, sinks, toilets and taps, paints and stains, clean lumber, electrical items, furnaces, new or nearly new carpets, flooring, power and hand tools, drywall, furniture and appliances * profits from sales go towards Habitat For Humanity Huronia to build homes

Habitat for Humanity Restore and the City of Barrie are partners in a project aimed at reducing the amount of material going to the city landfill * residents can call the City of Barrie at 705-739-4219, press #4, for pick-up of large items such as freezers, refrigerators, washing machines and furniture * items should not be dropped off at the store for pick-up * items must be placed outside on residents property, not on boulevard or end of driveway * items will be picked up within 5 business days and residents will be charged $25 per item * can be in working or non-working order, if in working order residents will receive a tax receipt for items with a value of $100 or more, if requested and items will be sold at the Restore store * if not in working condition, scrap metal will be taken to a central location for recycling * materials that are not able to be recycled will be taken to landfill * all coolants will be removed before landfilling * Restore staff reserve the right to refuse items that are unacceptable for landfilling * please note, no hazardous or liquid wastes are accepted in the program * all profits generated from this program will be directed towards building homes through Habitat for Humanity
