Description	There are two different types of composters, the Enviro Cycle and the Soilsaver, available at the City of Barrie's Environmental Centre, at 272 Ferndale Drive N, Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am-4 pm, to Barrie residents only     For information on the City of Barrie's Truckload Composter and Rain Barrel Sale, call 705-739-4219 or visit website

Description	* From the Garden  Leaves  Grass clippings  Garden trimmings  Plants and Weeds  Old potting soil  Soft plant stems    * From the Kitchen  Fruit scraps  Vegetable peels  Egg shells( crushed)  Tea bags  Coffee grounds with filters  Shredded paper( not glossy)    Items that DO NOT go into the Composter include    Meat, fish and bones  Plastics  Metals  Fats and oils  Dairy products  Pet waste  Cheese, meat or sauces    The odour from these items may attract pests!
Service Details
Hours	Landfill: Tue - Sat 9 am-4 pm * Barrie residents can purchase composters at the Landfill * the laneway to the landfill site can accommodate up to an hours worth of traffic * due to high volume of traffic on Tuesdays and Saturdays, it is recommended that you arrive at the landfill site prior to 3:00pm to ensure entry
Dates	Year round * Landfill closed on statutory holidays which include Good Friday, Canada Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and after noon on Christmas and New Year's Eve
