Description
DescriptionAluminum pull tabs collected from pop cans, Ensure tins, pudding cups, and anything else that is solid aluminum. Drop-offs are: Long's Service Centre, Thornbury; Grandma Lamb's, Meaford; and Legion in Clarksburg or Meaford. The money is then used to purchase wheelchairs(purchased 1420 as of 2011), canes and walkers.

They are collected at the Royal Canadian Legion in Elora for sale to an aluminum manufacturer in Guelph for $0.50 per pound, and about 1000 tabs make one pound (weight fluctuates).
