| Description | Volunteer based organization which promotes and supports research and education in the fields of cardiovascular disease and cerebrovascular disease. Services include: education of the public and professionals through the use of up-to-date factual information, videos and literature; provision of educational resources for schools, service clubs and lay groups; fund-raising through the Annual Heart and Stroke Foundation canvas for research; aid in the fight against heart disease and stroke; and participate in special events throughout the year, such as luncheons, big bike ride fund-raiser, fit events, and jump and hoop events held at local public and high schools. |
