Description (Service)Festival of Banners is a celebration of art and community spirit. Each year the Festival produces over 100 banners that will be designed and painted by the citizens of Orillia and area. These banners will fly on Downtown street lamps from May to October, creating an incredibly colourful and unique city streetscape. The banners will be auctioned off at the Festival of Banners Gala in late fall at the Orillia Museum of Art and History. Artist have a chance to buy their works first and the rest of the banners will be auctioned off.

EligibilityAges: 8 year(s) and up 
Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult for the banner painting and assist as necessary to see that the banner is completed.
