Description
Description* Community-based legal clinic serving people with HIV/AIDS in Ontario. HALCO provides free advice, legal representation, and referrals.  
* Areas of law include government income maintenance (ODSP/OW, CPP, EI, etc.), tenant issues, human rights, employment standards, immigration, substitute decision-making, regulated health professions complaints, HIV-related prison matters, privacy, and some private insurance matters.  
* Also provides free public legal education workshops to community groups and service providers.  
* Participates in networks, working groups, community development and law reform activities.
