| Description | Place of worship and community centre. Jewish Community Centre offers meeting space and/or full banquet facilities to rent for all not-for-profit groups and private functions for up to 150 people. In-house catering available if desired - all foods brought in must be Kosher. Full screen movie theatre also available with seating up to 150. Auditorium also available for rental, with excellent sight lines and acoustics, with seating for up to 210 people. Synagogue service times and dates and special events are posted on website (link above). Sabbath prayer services and High Holy Days services at different times throughout the year. All people are welcome to attend services or join activities (including college and university students and newcomers to the region). Also offers Hebrew theory classes for all ages. Regular movie nights, and guest speakers throughout the year. | |||
