Provides for the saving and preservation of life and property, prevention and public safety, fire suppression, fire code enforcement within the Municipality, reviews plans for new construction, renovations and additions on commercial and industrial properties.

Services provided include:

• Inspections of: Industrial Properties, Commercial Properties, Schools, Residential Properties
• Farm and Barn Safety Inspection - Call 705-436-2763 to book a free safety check
• Investigation of fire scenes and complaints as required
• Provision of Fire Safety Education programs to the public
• Burn Permits

Operates 5 Fire Stations - note that there is no admin staff at these stations except for Headquarters, Station 2:

• Station 1 - 780 Innisfil Beach Road, east of 25th Sideroad
• Station 2 (Lefroy - Headquarters) - 1214 20 Sideroad, Innisfil
• Station 3 - 2394 Victoria Street. Just West of County Road 4, Stroud
• Station 4 - 23 King Street North, Cookstown
• Station 5 - 740 Big Bay Point Road, Innisfil

Fire Station Tours:

• Fire station tours, public education sessions and m ore available by appointment only
• To Book a tour call the fire station directly 705-456-2318, Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
• Tour groups maximum of 20 people (10 children, 1 adult per child)

• $153 per fire inspection for daycares, nursery, rooming houses, etc. for licensing  
• $154.50 per fire inspection for short-term accommodations  
• $154.50 per fire inspection required by Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario for liquor licence purposes

• $116.70 for buildings under 15,000 square feet  
• $286.40 for buildings between 15,000 and 50,000 square feet  
• $572.90 for buildings over 50,000 square feet
