Description (Service) Needle exchange program available to help prevent the spread of HIV and hepatitis B and C that may occur through the sharing of or the improper disposal of needles, crack smoking equipment and other drug paraphernalia by providing a reliable and accessible supply of sterile injecting and smoking equipment that will assist in reducing the risk of blood borne infections * service is anonymous * clients are encouraged to place their used needles in the containers provided to them and return them to the CONTACT office * clients can drop off their used needles in any closed container, such as a coffee tin * additional personal disposal containers are available upon request
