| Description (Service) | Hands-on environmental day camp for children 5 to 12 years of age. Children are grouped by age and activities are adaptable to children of all abilities. Day camp runs on weekdays with extended before and after camp care available. Summer program focuses on hands-on activities where young explorers discover the variety of species and spaces at the 300+ acre Tiffin Centre for Conservation. Activities include: canoeing * wilderness skills * scientific investigations * crafts * drama and interactive games with a focus on the environment and learning about nature. Theme days include "Wacky Wetlands", "Outdoor Adventure" and "Birds of a Feather". A two-week Junior Leadership Camp is available for youth ages 13-15. The program is designed to build valuable leadership skills and provide hands-on practical experience. |
