Description

Description (Service) Works to promote Horticulture in Angus through various activities and events including:
  • Annual Flower & Vegetable Show and Tea in August
  • Maintains beds at the Clock Tower Gardens (beside the Angus Walk-In Clinic), the Angus Cenotaph, Farewell Gardens (across from the High School/Arena), Millennium Gardens (corner of Vernon St & County Road 10), Old Stone Gardens (across from the Angus Cenotaph) and Peace Gardens (located in Don Ross Fishing Park on County Road 90)
  • Plants one or two trees each September based on yearly purchases from the sale of the Glow in the Dark Wee Angels
