Provides primary prenatal, interpartum, and post-partum care to low risk women.

Prenatal care includes:

• checking blood pressure
• checking the baby's growth and position, and heart rate
• routine lab tests, referrals for ultrasounds and genetic testing if necessary
• information about community programs and resources
• nutritional consultation, sleep and other factors affecting your health and comfort during pregnancy

Labour and Birth care includes - complete management of labour and birth, including attendance and support throughout

Post-partum care includes - primary post-natal care for mother and baby throughout the first 6 weeks, including breastfeeding support and counselling, lab work, family planning, some in home visits and clinical settings
