Description (Service) Works in conjunction with the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority to help raise awareness and allocate funds directed for the preservation of the internationally significant Minesing Wetlands.  
 
Since 1997, FOMW has taken on and completed a number of high profile projects that offer recreational and educational opportunities to the public, including: the construction of the Willow Creek canoe launch and interpretive kiosk * the Meadow Mouse and Mayers Marsh Hiking trails* the Wildlife Viewing Platform and Trappers Monument  
 
Also, FOMW members have conducted a Flora and Fauna Inventory of the wetlands. The groups offers annual guided canoe and snowshoe excursions through the wetlands.
