Regular Service
Promotes mental health through:
  • community education, prevention, and rehabilitation programs
  • assessment services to substance misusing and gambling clients
  • supporting people enrolled in the Back on Track Program but only once registration has been completed through Back on Track, see separate listing BAR2600
  • mental health programs and addiction services, see separate records
  • Crisis Services including Mental Health Crisis Line, Mobile Crisis Response System, and Residential Crisis Beds (CARAH House), see separate records
Annual Christmas Gift Campaign
  • Gifts are distributed to approximately 1100 people living with mental health or addiction issues residing in special care homes, nursing homes and in the community at large
  • donations of new unwrapped gifts such as winter hats, gloves, shampoo, socks, toothpaste, hand lotion and sweets accepted at office
  • National Mental Health Week is in May each year
