* registered charitable nonprofit organization, dependent on public support for donations of money, supplies and volunteer time  
* Feral cat TNR (trap, neuter, return) services

OSPCA does not assist in getting bats or raccoons or skunks out of attics or houses, or cats out of trees, nor do they loan traps

* City of Barrie Municipal Law Enforcement will pick up stray cats and dogs and handles injured wildlife and removal of dead animals from city property 
* Ontario SPCA does not pick up stray animals, must be brought in 
* animal adoption services are available at Ontario SPCA offices in Barrie, Midland and Orillia
