    Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4 pm, hours may vary
    To make a request for an appointment fill out the service request form at Service Request
    Areas Served Barrie ; Simcoe County ; Alliston; Angus; Innisfil; Midhurst; Elmvale
    Eligibility Children 0-18yrs and Youth 18-25yrs who are full-time students, and are children of a parent or guardian who has met the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) contributory requirements who has died, see website for details

    To be eligible, the child must be:
    • the natural child of the contributor
    • a child "adopted legally" or "in fact" by the contributor while under the age of 21
    • a child "legally" or "in fact" in the custody and control of the contributor while under the age of 21
    • proof is required at time of application

      • apply as soon as possible, a delay may cause a loss of benefits
      • completed application forms and correspondence must be mailed, or dropped off at local Service Canada Centre, see website for details
