| Description (Service) | COVID-19 Update Many city services have been impacted by COVID-19 * the City will continue to maintain all essential services citizens rely on every day * for up to date details visit: www.barrie.ca/Living/City%20Services/Pages/COVID-19-Impacted-City-Services.aspx Regular Service Prepares and issues property tax bills for all properties within the City of Barrie * issues supplier payments, invoices and collects accounts receivable amounts * handles all consolidated financial reporting requirements for the City and related boards * manages all components of operating and capital budgets * handles corporate purchasing requirements * updates and administers the Development Charges Act * responsible for water and waste water billing * questions pertaining to assessment values and property description should be directed to the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (see separate record) |
