Description (Service)

Increase public awareness of issues facing deaf, hard of hearing and speech impaired people and assist disadvantaged women and children

  • group is involved in a variety of service projects, fundraising for Service Dogs, support to Barrie Families Unite, Bob Rumball Camp for the Deaf, help with groceries to disadvantaged women and children, annually sell poinsettias for fundraising
  • May is Better Hearing Month (sponsored by Quota International)
  • Collect used hearing devices to be refurbished by Canadain International Hearing Services and distributed to Third World countries
