Description (Service) Crisis care facility offering transitional housing and emergency care housing, food and clothing * short or long term stay * length of stay determined by person's need and rate of progress * support in life skills development (dress, hygiene, cooking and budgeting) * long term stays require carrying out a plan (continuing education, work, or job search) * in-house and mobile outreach counselling services for individuals and families * information and referral  
 
Transitional Housing offered to 5 youth who can stay for up to a year minus a day, length of stay is determined by client need * participation in Case Management Goals and Life Skills are the foundations of this program 
 
Emergency Care Housing for youth who have lost their housing * 10 beds for those identifying as young men and 6 beds for those identifying as young women 
 
Health Care Clinic held weekly for any youth experiencing homelessness who would like to see a doctor on a drop-in basis * services include full exams, medication dispensing and monitoring, advice and information about personal care, and referrals for more complicated physical needs 
 
RentSmart Program - free 12 hour course for youth 16-24 years run in partnership with RentSmart Ontario * a Tenant Life Skills and Landlord Education Program * course offered in Barrie, Midland, Orillia, Innisfil, Collingwood, Alliston, Wasaga Beach and Bradford * call for details 
 
Partner with Barrie Community Health Centre and Canadian Mental Heath Association to provide Youth Hub at the downtown branch of the Barrie Public Library on the second and fourth Tue of the month (except Jul-Aug) * staff are available to answer any health and wellness questions * activities and snacks also available 
 
Accept donations of food staples: drop off Mon-Fri 24 hours at 22 Wellington St E * donations of Christmas gifts: winter clothing, socks, hygiene and beauty supplies, school supplies, baked goods, youth-geared Gift Cards (movies, restaurants etc.), bus tickets/passes 
 
Boxes of Hope Fundraising Campaign 2019: purchase a box for $50 * contains scarves, gloves, tuques, toiletries, hygiene products and gift cards * donors can be eligible to win prizes * campaign runs until Christmas
