| Description (Service) | Advanced in home foot care services provided by a registered nurse (RN) * clients are seen in the comfort of their own home or facility Treatments Include: * Health history, foot and nail assessment, soft tissue assessment (i.e. plantar fasciitis) * Treatment referrals, bony structural assessment (i.e. bone spurs, bunions etc.) * Nail Cutting (regular and thickened, convoluted and ram’s horn nails) * Footwear education * Foot Massage Therapy Services also include when necessary: * Callous and corn removal/reduction * Diabetic assessment/treatment and education * Fungal nail and foot treatment and education * Ingrown nail removal, pain reduction and education |
