Description (Service) | COVID-19 Response * CMHA Simcoe County Branch has closed all offices to in-person services for clients, families and the public * all services are available virtually by secure email, voice, Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) or text * Assertive Community Treatment Teams and Early Psychosis Intervention programs are continuing as usual If you require immediate mental health assistance, please call: Mental Health Crisis Line: 705-728-5044 or 1-888-893-8333 Telecare: 705-726-7922 Kids Help Phone: 1-800-668-6868 or text CONNECT to 686868 to chat Regular Service Support group for suicide attempt survivors * group meetings allow members to discuss challenges and successes they face following their suicide attempt and to share and learn strategies for survival and ways to relieve the pain that may have led to their attempt * runs once a year for 20 weeks, meeting weekly * breaks during the Holidays Skills for Safer Living is offered by the Crisis Program, in partnership with the Simcoe County Suicide Awareness Council and the Canadian Mental Health Association, Simcoe County Branch. |

The group is delivered in two, 10 week sessions and is facilitated by Mental Health professionals, specifically trained to deliver and support this group. The group typically starts in September of each year. Contact the Crisis Line to refer or for further information. |
