Description (Service) | FM Tracking program for vulnerable individuals who are at risk of wandering. This includes persons living with dementia, autism spectrum disorder, acquired brain injury, or a mental health condition. Program consists of:
The Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County handles the administration of Project Lifesaver. Barrie Police and South Simcoe Police operate the FM responders if a search is required. All participants are added to the Barrie Police/South Simcoe Police Vulnerable Person's registry. |
