Description (Service) Staff available to assist with:  
  • general support 
  • breakfast-to-go items 
  • hygiene supplies and seasonal clothing 
  • Harm Reduction supplies 
  • access to short-term warming space, free showers, and washroom.  
  • Health Cards and other paperwork  
  • transportation needs  
  • referral to other programs and community resources 
  • an access point to facilitate medical, corrections and other support appointments virtually
 
Hours will be increased in December 2021 
 
Donations 
  • Donations of breakfast and lunch items for shelter guests as well as donations of survival gear, toiletries and cleaning supplies are needed
  • if you have donations, do not go to 88 Mulcaster without first calling 705-739-6916 or emailing getconnected@busbycentre.ca

  • Daytime drop-in services and overnight respite beds at this location provide additional choices for individuals opting not to access shelter programs 
  • Drop-in programs and overnight respite warming programs do not require individuals to enter the shelter program
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-3 pm

Eligibility No restrictions, anyone impacted by homelessness

  • Drop-in, no appointment needed 
  • Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, staff may limit the number of people inside at any one time and it may be necessary to wait outside for service
