Description (Service) COVID-19 Update 
  • Group is currently offered in person, if in person attendance is not possible, alternate delivery of the program either via video or phone session will be arranged 
  • Current clients are asked to call or email their worker to arrange a session, if you don't know the phone number or email of your worker call 705-725-7656 or email info@newpath.ca and ask to have your worker call you 
  • Anyone wanting to access services for the first time or book a walk-in clinic session, please call 705-725-7656 or 1-866-566-7656 or email info@newpath.ca leaving your name and contact information and a counsellor will contact you to book an appointment by telephone
 
Regular Service 
Cognitive-behavioural treatment for children with anxiety, program stresses importance of practicing skills introduced in each session to achieve and maintain emotional well being 
 
Program incorporates 4 components: 
  • Recognizing and understanding emotional and physical reactions to anxiety 
  • Clarifying thoughts and feelings in anxious situations 
  • Developing plans for effective coping 
  • Evaluating performance and giving self-reinforcement
