Description (Service) Confidential care partner support groups connect people (family & friends) who are supporting persons living with dementia * safe environment to share challenges and successes and realize you are not alone * talk to others who are going through similar experiences, increase understanding of dementia and develop and broaden coping strategies 
To enable care partners to attend the support group, a concurrent respite group for the person living with dementia is operated at the same time as the Care Partner support group * registration required for this program * please contact the Alzheimer Society to register
Service Details
Hours Support Group: first Wed of the month 1 pm-3 pm and third Thu of the month 7 pm-9 pm * meeting dates may change due to statutory holidays or summer breaks, contact the office for more information 
Public Drop In: Thu 1 pm-4:30 pm all other dates and times by appointment only

Eligibility Family, friends and caregivers of persons with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias
