Description (Service)

Offers newborns initial hearing screening in hospital or community clinics

a 'refer' result on the first screening calls for a second, more in depth screening
in the possibility of hearing loss, assessment is done by a specially trained Infant Audiologist
infants identified with permanent childhood hearing impairment provided with follow-up supports and services

Public Comments	Main Entrance: Faces Georgian Dr, on north side of health centre, open daily from 6 am-9 pm VISITORS MUST USE THIS ENTRANCE ONLY - PATIENTS FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS OF BOOKING CLERK

Eligibility	Age Requirements: 6 year(s) and under Infants from birth but services extend up to grade one (eligible children)
