Description (Service)

Provides gently-used home furnishings to eligible families

accepts donations from the public, hotels, residences and furniture stores
donated items will be picked up for a fee
income tax receipts will be issued based on the current market value of items
help direct people to appropriate funding streams to pay for furniture
donated items must be in reusable condition and items deemed unsuitable cannot be picked up nor receipted
donated items are distributed to families and individuals who apply for service through current partner agencies including:

Eligibility	Furniture Donations: anyone can donate suitable items Furniture Recipients: referral from a service provider partner is required
Application	To Donate Furniture: call Furniture Bank at 1-888-432-8449 for a furniture removal quote transportation partner Jeff White Group will professionally remove and transport items to the Barrie Furniture Bank Warehouse To Receive Furniture: referral from a partnering community agency is required no appointment is necessary, most communication is done remotely (email or phone/text) as is furniture selection (Private online store, although in-person selection is available for special circumstances) For people who don't speak English, interpretation services can be scheduled To Become a Referring Partner Agency: email furniturebank@redwoodparkcommunities.com
