Description
Description (Service) Case management for individuals 16 - 24 who live in Barrie and are experiencing serious mental illness and need assistance with things such as finding and maintaining housing, daily living skills, exploration of income supports, and making connections with community resources 
 
Programs and workshops for youth between the ages of 12 to 24 * two programs are run twice per year as well as summer workshops * Teen to Teen Program examines stressors and coping mechanisms for transitions into and out of high school, post secondary school and the job market * Self Esteem & Healthy Relationships * First Nations Hand-Drum Making * Ending Self Harm Group * programs and workshops vary, see website for details 
 
Walk-in service/in-take service on Mondays from 1 pm-4 pm to help individuals who are looking for information and/or support regarding mental health and addictions * staff will be available to discuss individual needs, provide connection to CMHA services, assist with information and referrals to other community services, and answer questions related to mental health and addictions 
 
Peer Support ongoing from 4 pm-5 pm * a chance to chat with peers about mental wellness and recovery * meet new people, get support and have some fun * no registration needed 
 
Parent and Caregiver Support on fourth Monday of every month from 6 pm-7:30 pm * drop in group for parents or caregivers of youth experiencing mental health issues * talk with others about their experiences and get information and support
