Federal dental care benefit for children

• based on net family income, tax-free payment of $260, $390, or $650 for reach eligible child
• available for two periods
• July 1, applications open for period two of the interim Canada Dental Benefit
• maximum of two payments for each eligible child

Apply online using CRA My Account or by phone. 

To apply, you will need your:

• child's dental care provider's name, address, and telephone number
• child's dental appointment date
• employer's name, address, and telephone number (if applicable)
• spouse or common-law partner's employer's name, address, and telephone number (if applicable)

Keep your dental care receipts.
