Description (Service) A peer support group for Grandparents and other Kin, who are parenting again.
  • provide a safe and confidential environment where Grands & Kin can create relationships with others who understand and have lived experiences under similar circumstances. Trained facilitators have hands-on experience and understand the trials and tribulations of being the primary provider for a grandchild
  • members have access to a resource library of written and internet resources that members can borrow or be directed to
  • have a private Facebook page where information about topics and events that may be of interest to members is posted

Service Details

Hours Meetings: 2nd and 4th Tue of each month 10 am-12 noon. No meetings in Jul and Aug.
Areas Served Simcoe County
Eligibility Grandparents and other family members who are raising a Grandchild or Kin child between the ages of 1 and 18. Daycare is not available.
