Description

Description (Service)

Clinic for children ages 0 to 5 years who do not have a family doctor or Nurse Practitioner.

  • Same day/next day appointments: (no walk-ins)
    • cough/cold, fever, flu-like symptoms

  • Well baby/child check-ups

    • Monitoring and screening of all newborns, infants and children 0-5 years
  • Immunizations
    • Provision of routine vaccinations according to schedule
  • Referrals
    • referrals to specialists, dietitian services, speech language therapy, physiotherapy, respiratory therapy and other needed services
    • parenting supports, programs supporting post-natal mood problems
    • community workers assist with access to community supports including links with education, employment, income supports
