JusticeNet is a not-for-profit service helping people in need of legal expertise, whose income is too high to access legal aid and too low to afford standard legal fees.

Eligibility Net family income is under $70,000, and is experiencing financial difficulties. Families of three individuals or more, with a net family income of up to $90,000 also qualify.

Clients with low income should contact their provincial legal aid office to determine eligibility under legal aid for their specific case before applying for this program.

Fees Reduced fees will be calculated according to a sliding scale which takes into account the number of individuals supported and amount of income from all sources (including employment income, self-employed earnings, employment insurance, worker's compensation pensions, social assistance, commissions, child tax benefits, rental income, etc.).
