Description

Description (Service) Offers early intervention and prevention services and supports to assist families with infants and toddlers with established risks, biological risks and psychosocial risks of delays in development or disability to attain an optimal level of development.

Parents are recognized as primary participants in this service.

Services include:
  • developmental screening and assessment
  • individualized, play-based programming in areas such as gross and fine motor
  • developing speech, language and communication skills
  • cognitive and social skills
  • community education
  • professional development
  • link to community resources and services

Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Bruce County ; Grey County ; Bruce County - South Bruce ; Grey County - West Grey including Durham ; Grey and Bruce Counties are served by the Infant and Child Development Programs provided by Community Living Owen Sound and District, Kincardine and District, and Walkerton and District. Call for details on which communities are served.
Eligibility Children at risk of delays in development and children with identified special needs. Up to school entry age.
