Description

Description (Service) Provides Christmas assistance including food for low income families and toys for children under 16 years old.

Donations are needed and welcomed - to see what donations are most needed at this time, call Community and Family Services.
  • Food, toys and money can be dropped off Mon, Tue and Fri, 9 am-12 noon and 1 pm-3 pm. Donations by cheque are to be made payable to The Salvation Army Food Bank.
  • Donations of food and toys can also be dropped off in drop boxes located at the Independent Grocery store, Wal Mart and at the Foodland in Southampton.
  • Other toy drop off boxes are located throughout the community (the Iota Phi Toy Drive collects toys on behalf of The Salvation Army).
Volunteers will be needed - call The Salvation Army for more information on volunteering for the Christmas Kettle Drive.

Registration: Application for Christmas Assistance 2023 are being taken from 9:30 am-12:30 pm on Nov 23, Nov 30 and Dec 7.
