Description (Service) Provides Christmas assistance including food for low income families and toys for children under 14 years old. 
Donations are needed and welcomed - to see what donations are most needed, call Community and Family Services. 
  • Food, toys and money can be dropped off Tue and Fri from 10 am-2 pm - donations by cheque are to be made payable to "The Salvation Army Food Bank". 
  • Donations of food and toys can also be dropped off in drop boxes located at the Independent Grocery store, Wal Mart and at the Foodland in Southampton. 
  • Other toy drop off boxes are located throughout the community (the Iota Phi Toy Drive collects toys on behalf of The Salvation Army).
Volunteers will be needed - call The Salvation Army for more information on volunteering for the Christmas Kettle Drive.

Application Apply in person. Regular food bank clients applications can be made when they come in for food assistance. 
Must bring ID for all members of the household, proof of income for anyone over 18 and rent receipt.
