Description (Service) | COVID-19 Response Due to concerns regarding COVID-19, Community Food programs are being redesigned with the use of virtual support and program food pick up processes. A Pilot program called the "Good to Go" Guided Meal Program will be held in Jan-Feb 2021. Call The Meeting Place or check our website in Dec 2020 for full description and registration. Regular Service: Community Food programs hosted by The Meeting Place in Tobermory facilitates seasonal cooking programs and other food events. Experiential learning, enjoyment along with connecting with friends and neighbours are the main goals. These programs and events are a venue for learning and advocacy on increasing food security. Specific dates, times and registration information, if applicable, is posted on TMP website prior to program start-up date. |
