Description (Service) Good-to-Go Pay-What-You-Can Meal Program
Offers weekly meal kits that are planned, shopped, and ready to cook with easy-to-follow instructions. Emphasizes plant based foods and sources as much organic and local food as possible. Anyone can order as often as they please and most meals can be modified to accommodate dietary restrictions. There is an option for donation for those who would like to contribute financially, but offering volunteer time or recipes are also welcome contributions.

FoodFit
Offers a 12 week program, running from (January 17th- April 3rd) to help people achieve their health goals by cooking and eating together, light exercise and peer support.

Community Learning Gardens
A free program offered at the Community Gardens in Tobermory. Participants will be provided with gardening materials and guidance from the Food Security Coordinator while putting in the time to plant and care for the garden will be up to them. Offers a fun learning environment for community members to get hands-on experience gardening and increase their amount of outdoor time.

Lions Head Good Food Box Satellite Program
The Meeting Place Tobermory is partnering with the Lions Head Good Food Box program to bring Good Food Boxes to residents in Tobermory, Miller Lake and surrounding area. The Good Food Box is a monthly box of seasonal produce that costs $22 (for those who can contribute financially) or free to those who need it. Each month the box contains different seasonal fruits and vegetables, usually containing some potatoes, onions and apples. Delivery is possible, for those living along highway 6.

Good-to-Go Pay-What-You-Can Meal Program: Meal kits are delivered to Ferndale every Thu at 4 pm or picked up in Tobermory at The Meeting Place on Thu 11 am-1 pm

Eligibility Everyone welcome, youth by individual arrangement.
Application Call or register on The Meeting Place website for "Good-To-Go" program.

Fees Good to Go: Not required, but participants are asked to donate what they can including time, ideas and monetary donations to cover cost of food.
