|Description (Service)||Food bank available to all residents that qualify.
Non-perishable donations can be delivered to The Salvation Army Chesley Food Bank on Wed mornings by appointment ONLY. Cash or cheque donations can be mailed to The Salvation Army in Hanover (581 12th St, Hanover, ON N4N 1W5), cheques made out to The Salvation Army Hanover.
The Emergency Christmas Assistance Program will consist of a turkey, gift card for extra groceries that you will need for your Christmas meal and for those with children toys or gift cards with be provided for children up to the age of 17 years of age.
The Salvation Army Family Services & Food Bank is located in the Chesley Community Church and supported by the Chesley Ministerial Association.
|Public Comments||Starting July 8, 2020, The Salvation Army Chesley Food Bank will be serving its clients at the Chesley Community Church at 307 1st Ave and will be available only by appointment. Call 519-364-3450 or 226-230-1447 to set up appointment.
For December 2021, the food bank is only open the 1st and 2nd Wednesday. For remainder of December, Christmas assistance available. Register November 3rd-Dec.8th.
