| Description (Service) | COVID-19 Response During the COVID-19 pandemic, public presentations are not being offered at this time however talks, presentations and workshops are being offered through online chat applications such as Zoom, Teams and Skype. Can provide information, resources and project ideas. Please follow the social media channels for current and helpful mental health information and tips for youth ages 12 to 29. Regular Service A mental health and mental illness awareness program for intermediate, high school and college students. A one-time or series of 75 minute presentations to talk about good mental health, why it's important and how to have it. Information about programs and services. Aims to decrease the stigma surrounding mental illness and treatment. Talk Today is a program offered in partnership with the Ontario Hockey League and incorporates players from the local Owen Sound Attack hockey team. As part of the Talk Today program, minor sports associations can reach out to receive TEAM UP, suicide preventation training as well as Talk Today information sharing activities and presentations for their team. |
