Description (Service) Kawartha Lakes Food Coalition (KLFC), a diverse group of individual citizens, not-for-profit organizations, health care providers, farmers, and many more. The Food Coalition is working to implement the Kawartha Lakes Food Action Plan. 
 
The Kawartha Lakes Food Coalition is motivated by the goal of achieving a just and sustainable food system, rooted in healthy communities, in which no one is hungry and everyone has access to healthy, nutritious food. It is an economically viable, diverse and ecologically sustainable system to grow, harvest, process, transport and distribute food while minimizing waste.” KL Food Charter.
