Description (Service) Supports families and individuals in need with Christmas food hampers and gifts for children 17 years of age and under.

Variety of volunteer opportunities.

Financial donations as well as donations of toys welcome. Sponsorship opportunities.

Hours Mon, Fri 9:30 am-12 noon, Wed 9:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-3:30 pm
Dates: Registration: Oct 15 -Nov 30, 2022
Hampers will be distributed starting Dec 1, 2022. Details will be given when registration is dropped off.
Areas Served Blue Mountains ; Clearview (Simcoe County) ; Collingwood ; Wasaga Beach
Eligibility Low income. Some exceptions may be made. Gifts for children up to 17 years provided to parent who has legal custody. Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles not eligible for gifts for children unless they have full legal custody.
Application Pick up application from food bank. Drop completed application at food bank. Pick up hamper at the food bank.

Registration required in person at Salvation Army Food Bank starting Oct 15. Last day of registration Nov 30.

Note: Any request for assistance after December 1st may be limited depending on resources remaining. This is especially true for toys, since every attempt will be to be as generous as possible on Distribution Day.
