Description (Service) COVID-19 Response Due to the pandemic, there will be no volunteer or sponsorship opportunities available for the 2020 Christmas season 
Regular Service: 
Supports families and individuals in need with Christmas food hampers and gifts for children 16 years of age and under. 
Variety of volunteer opportunities 
Financial donations as well as donations of toys welcome. Sponsorship opportunities.

Hours Mon, Fri 9:30 am-12 noon * Wed 9:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-3:30 pm
Dates Registration: Oct 15 -Nov 30, 2020
Areas Served Blue Mountains ; Collingwood ; Feversham
Eligibility Low income. Some exceptions may be made. Gifts for children up to 16 years provided to parent who has legal custody. Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles not eligible for gifts for children unless they have full legal custody.
Application COVID-19 
Pick up application from food bank. Drop completed application at food bank * Pick up hamper at the food bank 
Registration required in person at Salvation Army Food Bank starting Oct 10. Last day of registration Nov 30. Applicants need to bring photo ID and birth certificates for any children. Individuals who are not registered with the food bank will be asked for documentation of household income and expenses 
Note: Any request for assistance after December 1st may be limited depending on resources remaining. This is especially true for toys, since every attempt will be to be as generous as possible on Distribution Day. 
ID will be required at time of picking up food hamper and/or toys.
