Supports families and individuals in need with Christmas food hampers and gifts for children 16 years of age and under.

Variety of volunteer opportunities.

Financial donations as well as donations of food and toys welcome.

Service Details

Hours Register on Oct 23, 2024, Oct 30, 2024 or Nov 6, 2024 from 9:30 am-3:30 pm

For families with children, hampers and toys will be handed out Dec 9, 2024 to Dec 13, 2024 and Dec 16, 2024.

For individuals and couples without children, hampers will be handed out on Dec 17, 2024 and Dec 18, 2024.
Areas Served Blue Mountains ; Collingwood
Eligibility Low income. Some exceptions may be made. Gifts for children up to 16 years provided to parent who has legal custody. Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles not eligible for gifts for children unless they have full legal custody.
Application Registration required in person at Salvation Army Food Bank

Pick up hamper and toys at the food bank.

Note: Any request for assistance after Dec 1 may be limited depending on resources remaining. This is especially true for toys, since every attempt will be made to be as generous as possible on the distribution days.
