Description
Description (Service) | Supports local special needs children, and the Shrine Children Hospital in Montreal, and raises funds for orthopaedic, arthritis and burn centres. Provides free transportation to children needing hospital treatment from the Georgian Triangle to the Toronto Ramses Headquarters. Annual events include turkey shoots (four held in Mar, Apr, Oct and Nov), a Mother's Day Breakfast in May, a steak fry and fish fry (Jul and Aug) and summer golf tournament. Also holds bingo games at the Manito Shriner's Club Meeting space available for rent including one large room which can seat 190 people and a bar lounge that can accommodate 95 people. They provide the liquor licence and catering. |
