Service: Collingwood Branch 63

Description (Service) Provide support and social gatherings to veterans and their families, and to the community. Celebrates Legion Week in September. Annual Poppy in October until Nov 11th. Activities include tag days, Remembrance Day parade followed by a service at the cenotaph and comradeship at the Legion. Proceeds from the Poppy campaign are used to assist veterans and their families, bursaries for education, literacy and poster contest prizes.

Other annual events include:
  • New Year's Eve Dance
  • Robbie Burns night the Saturday before January 25
  • District Public Speaking contest in Februay
  • Fish Fry in March
  • weekly bingo on Monday nights

Provide a Bursary Program for eligible children or grandchildren of War Veterans who are Life or Ordinary Members of the Legion. Contact the bursary chair for more information.

Hours Club: Mon-Sat 11 am-1 am, hours may vary

Eligibility Must be 18 to become a member. Many events are open to the public of any age.
