Description (Service)

Provides care to women during pregnancy, labour and birth and the postpartum.

Labour and birth care includes complete management and attendance and support throughout the entire labour, whether at home or hospital.

Prenatal care includes:

physical assessment
lab work
counselling on nutrition and exercise
ongoing assessments of mom and baby
lending library

Postpartum care for the first six weeks after birth includes:

breastfeeding support
lab work
family planning
ongoing assessments of mom and baby.

Visits are at home for the first two weeks.

Currently has privileges at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital

Service Details

Hours	Office: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm Clinic times change from day to day.
Areas Served	Collingwood ; Grey Highlands ; Osprey ; Stayner ; Wasaga Beach
Eligibility	Pregnant women needing prenatal, birth and postpartum care. Residency Requirements: Serves the North Simcoe - North Dufferin area. The catchment area is bordered on the west by County Rd 124, touching south along Highway 89 at Shelburne through Angus .
Application	Appointment required. Call for information. Fill in intake form on website.

Fees	None - covered by OHIP ; Free to residents of Ontario (do not necessarily need a Health Card).
