Description (Service) | Serves the community by providing protection from fire, life threatening emergencies, dangerous conditions through education, prevention, rescue, suppression and basic life support services. Also provides public education regarding fire suppression and safety programs. The fire department is responsible for fire bylaws or regulations and for issuing burning permits. |
