Service: Spay and Neuter Bus

Description (Service) One day event in selected area communities providing spays, neuters and wellness exams for cats and dogs for a reduced fee to low income pet owners. Cats and dogs must be aged 8 weeks to 7 years (dogs under 80lbs) 
Wellness exam includes a microchip, rabies vaccine, core vaccines, one dose of de-worming and for age appropriate dogs a heart worm test. 
Spay and Neuter bus will be located in Meaford and Wasaga Beach. Pet(s) will need to be dropped off in the morning and picked up in the afternoon.

Eligibility You do NOT have to be a resident of Wasaga Beach or Meaford to register for the clinic 
Clients must meet one or more of the following requirements 
* Enrolment in ODSP or Ontario Works 
* Enrolment in the Resettlement Assistance Program 
* Guaranteed Income Supplement (for seniors) 
* Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) 
* Annual income below $30,000 (approximately 15.00 per hour) 
* Letter or referral from a social worker or social service agency 
* Pet must be between 3 months and 8 years of age, within good health and normal weight ranges 
* Dog must not weigh over 80lbs/36 kg
