Description (Service) | Annual Poppy campaign is held the first two weeks in November, activities included are; tag days; a parade to the cenotaph on Remembrance Day, November 11, followed by a service at the Legion * Proceeds from the Poppy campaign are used to assist retired veterans and their families, bursaries for education, literacy and poster contest prizes Other events and activities that are open to the community include: Darts, euchre, turkey shoot (targets, prize is turkey), bingo * Every Friday, offers low cost meals such as wings or fish and chips followed by entertainment including karaoke Also will loan out a range of mobility devices to the community, call for details * Accept donations, call first to ensure there is available space Meeting space available for rent, room holds a limit of 180 seated with fully licensed facilities * Catering is available and supplied by a full catering service * All bar services are provided by the Legion |
