Description (Service) COVID-19 Response 
Due to concerns regarding COVID-19, the following changes to services have been implemented: 
  • The food bank remains operational, call 705-445-9222 for an appointment. No walk-ins. 
  • Food donations are still being accepted, Mon-Thu 1 pm-3:30 pm 
  • Community dinners are temporarily suspended until further notice
Regular Service
Provides spiritual, material, and humanitarian support at the point of need. Places spiritual emphasis on social needs in the community. 
 
Services include:  
  • Sunday Worship Services at 11 am. Blend of traditional and contemporary music 
  • Kids Time runs during church worship service at 11 am on Sundays, which is open to all  
  • Women's Group Wednesday Mornings at 10 am. Bring lunch for fellowship after meeting 
  • Pastoral counselling, visits to hospitals and nursing homes 
  • Emergency relief in food through the Community and Family Service's food banks, and clothing through the thrift stores (see separate listings). 
  • Conducts a fundraising campaign, 'The Salvation Army Annual Fund Campaign' to support the services provided nation-wide. 
  • Monthly Community meal
 Kettle campaign run every Christmas where donations are collected from the community. Local businesses can request their own kettle to collect money on behalf of the Salvation Army. Volunteers are needed to help with this campaign.

Worship service: Sun 11 am
Community meals: suspended until further notice.
