Description
| Description (Service) | Provides COVID-19 testing at select pharmacies in Ontario. Some pharmacy locations (listed on the website) will be offering free testing by appointment to individuals with no symptoms of COVID-19 and eligible for testing as part of a targeted testing initiative directed by the Ministry of Health or the Ministry of Long-Term Care. As of November 18, 2021, select pharmacies will be available for COVID-19 testing for symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals. (see website for locations). In-store testing will be available at these sites by appointment. Take-home self collection kits may be available for pick up and drop off without an appointment (call or visit their website to confirm kits are in stock). Free COVID-19 rapid antigen test kits for at-home use are available at participating pharmacy or grocery locations (while supplies last). See website for locations. The results can be ready in 15-20 minutes. Individuals must follow all public health measures when going for a test, including wearing a mask, practicing physical distancing, and frequent handwashing. |
